






Helena Sadan Convent Ambassa
In response to the invitation of late Rt.Rev. Denzil D’Souza then bishop of Silchar, the first four pioneering sisters arrived at
Ambassa on the 21st of July 1995 accompanied by Sr. Therese Regine, the Provincial Superior of India East Province. The first mission house, Helena Sadan Convent was started on 26th July 1995 in the SVD parish Ambassa.The pioneers were Sr. Mary Pallati, Sr.Valsina Enthunkal, Sr. Pushpa Ekka and Sr. Ashrita Dung Dung. St. Helena Girl’s hostel was blessed and inaugurated on 18th November 2002.
Holy Spirit Convent Moharpara
Our second community in Tripura was at Moharpara where the Holy Cross Fathers had a mission centre and a school.
Holy Spirit Hospital Haflong
North Cachar Hills, is a dreamland of undulating hills and valleys, gently flowing streams and waterfalls.
Sr. Berndetta Pattathuparambil and Sr. Rita Thalakottur were the pioneers to Haflong mission. On 30th January 2002 they started Haflong mission. Holy Spirit Hospital in Haflong was inaugurated on 31st May 2006 for health and healing ministry in the vacated Don Bosco School Haflong. New Holy Spirit Hospital building was blessed and inaugurated on 18th April 2018.

Tripura is the smallest among the seven sister’s states of the North East. Holy Spirit convent Agartala,
Holy Spirit Convent Phramer
Meghalaya, Abode of the Clouds, is one of the North Eastern states best known outside because of the fame of Shillong.
This state is carved out of Khasi Hills, Jaintia Hills and Garo Hills. Sr. Mary Palatti, Sr. Sushma Bhalrai and Sr. Jyoti Indwar were appointed to be the pioneers of this mission for Pastoral ministry, Education, and Hostel ministry. 18th March 2006 was a significant day as Holy Spirit Convent Phramer was blessed and inaugurated in Jaintia Hills in the Diocese of Jowai.

Holy Spirit Convent Guwahati
The Regional and team of India North East (INN) shifted their residence to Guwahati from Haflong in the year 2006.
Holy Spirit Convent Guwahati was started on July 19th 2006 in a rented house until the new building was blessed on 27th September 2009.The region was raised to a Province dedicated to the Divine Spirit on 25th March 2010.

Holy Spirit Convent Belonia
Responding to the proposal of 2nd Regional chapter to begin an English medium school of our own,
Holy Spirit Convent Mengio, Arunachal Pradesh
In response to the invitation of Rt. Rev. Bishop John Thomas of Itanagar diocese in Arunachal Pradesh,
our three Sisters went to Mengio Mission with MCBS Fathers (Missionary Congregation of Blessed Sacrament) to collaborate in the work of Evangelization, Education and Hostel ministry for the lesser privileged people of Nishi Tribe. Holy Spirit Convent was started on 5th July 2015, with the pioneers, Sr. Sunita Kujur, Sr. Sunita Toppo, and Sr. Vandana Bhagora.
