The immediate preparation for perpetual profession is of utmost importance. Its goal is to help the sisters prepare for their total, lifelong commitment to Christ as Missionary Sisters, Servants of the Holy Spirit and to strengthen their religious-missionary vocation at the service of one common mission.
During this period of less activity and greater quiet, the sisters reflect on their experience of God’s loving guidance throughout their life and work as SSpS missionaries. They devote more time to prayer, spiritual reading, study and reflection as a means of deepening their commitment to follow Jesus radically in a spirit of joyous availability as religious missionaries,
